THE COLORFUL EVENT RUNS FROM 11:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. INDOORS & OUTSIDE OF THE WICKENBURG COMMUNITY CENTER, 160 NORTH VALENTINE STREET IN THE HEART OF THE HISTORIC DISTRICT.  FIESTA DE SEPTIEMBRE RECOGNIZES THE TOWN’S EARLY HISPANIC PIONEERS, AND KICKS OFF HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH IN ARIZONA. EVENTS SCHEDULED DURING THE FIESTA INCLUDE:  A SPECIAL HISPANIC FAMILIES PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT, ENTERTAINMENT THROUGHOUT THE DAY WITH TWO MARIACHI BANDS; MARIACHI CORAZON DE PHOENIX AND MARIACHI ALEGRE,FOLKLORICO DANCES BY BALLET FOLKLORICO DE SANTA MARIA, AND MUSIC BY PHOENIX’S OWN “BARRIO LATINO” & DON DIEGO BENNETT, FLAMENCO GUITARIST. OUTDOORS YOU’LL FIND A MERCADO WITH ARTS & CRAFTS AND BOOTHS, OFFERING A VARIETY OF MERCHANDISE AND TASTY FOOD.  IN ADDITION, A “NO-HOST” MARGARITA & CERVEZA CANTINA WILL HAVE DELICIOUS DRINKS THROUGHOUT THE DAY.  THE “KIDS ZONA” PROGRAM IS SCHEDULED THROUGHOUT THE DAY, WHERE CHILDREN LEARN HOW TO MAKE MEXICAN CRAFTS. Just before Christmas 2009, chamber volunteers Jim & Jeanne Bansner who assist us in keeping the caboose open on Friday & Saturdays, were excited about hitting the 3,000 mark! We greatly appreciate their volunteer time, which keeps the caboose open October – May (weather permitting) from 10am – 2pm on Fridays & Saturdays! WHS Class of 1990 Reunion - SAVE THE DATE Can you believe it's been 20 years! It's time to get together and get back in contact with some old friends. The reunion will be the weekend of Homecoming which is October 1, 2010. We are going to meet up at the game on Friday night and then the reunion will be Saturday evening.
