REAL ID Deadline Extended to: May 7, 2025
Beginning May 7, 2025, all U.S. travelers will need a REAL ID compliant form of identification to board domestic flights.
Find out how to get a REAL ID on the Department of Homeland Security website.
A REAL ID compliant card will have one of the following markings on the top portion of the card. If the card does not have one of these markings, it will not be accepted as proof of identity and you will not be able to board a commercial aircraft beginning May 3, 2023.
