Maricopa County Parks Launches Vulture Mountains Project Page

Maricopa County Parks & Recreation has now launched the project page for the Vulture Mountains Recreation Area located just south of Wickenburg.

"For nearly two decades, the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department (Parks) has worked closely with The Nature Conservancy (TNC), Bureau of Land Management Phoenix District Office (BLM), and the Town of Wickenburg to expand recreational services in the northwest portion of our county."

Phase 1 of the project began in 2022. Read more about the history of this project and future timeline on the Maricopa County Parks website.
